The company today

After more than 20 years in business, Dimaplast now has a team of 20 people.? Looking to the future, thanks in particular to its laboratory and logistics site, the family business aims to double its production capacity in the next few years.

2021

Creation of an analysis laboratory

Dimaplast pursues its development by commissioning a second extrusion line.?At the same time, an analysis laboratory is set up within the company. It is used to check the quality of samples, by measuring grade, filler content, density, colourimetry, etc. A technical data sheet is given to each customer.

2020

New extrusion line

Despite the health crisis, Dimaplast continues to invest and commissions a new extrusion line.

2019

Increased storage capacity

Between June 2019 and January 2020, a new 10,000 m2 building comprising 3 logistics cells will be constructed. By increasing Dimaplast’s storage capacity, this investment will help to limit transport and thus reduce CO2 emissions.

2015

Increase in grinding activity

Dimaplast is investing in the renewal of all its production equipment. Thanks to brand new machines, the company is increasing its shredding activity.

2011

Purchase of a second building

Dimaplast invested in a new 1,200 m2 building which is entirely dedicated to the logistics part of the company. Human beings at the heart of the company.
Dimaplast grows by working in tight collaboration with its employees and significant proximity with its customer and supplier partners.

2007

Laurent Di-Mattia Laurent takes over the company

Laurent Di Mattia, their son, joined the family company so as to pursue its development.
He started by making the sales activity durable with the will to speed up innovation at the service of improved product quality.
At the end of 2012, he assumed responsibility over the activity of Dimaplast.

2005

Purchase of the initial building

Dimaplast purchases its first building. A 3,000 m2 covered warehouse which, in addition to currently housing 5 production lines, also allows significant storage of its recycled material.

2000

Creation of the company

Salvatore Di Mattia, employee of the Compagnie Générale des Eaux, promptly detected the potential of the activity linked to plastics recycling.
At that time, this new activity was not very developed in France.
Self-taught, he embarked upon this business adventure along with his wife, Nadine Di Mattia.
With very few resources, they started trading in plastics and performing custom work by purchasing plastics which they transformed before reselling it.
