  • Recycling and Waste management

    We manage our customers’ wastes. To achieve this we have 5 shredding machines, 5 fast crushers and one baling press at our recovery center.

  • Regrinding and Granulating

    Remain the owner and master of you product scrap. Keep full traceability of your material by entrusting it to us to be recycled at your convenience (crushed, regenerated, colored, loaded, …). You will therefore be able to reintroduce this secondary raw material in your production cycle with confidence.

What is our process?

The lumps (plastic blocks) and production rejects (also called quality rejects or production waste) reach the Dimaplast site via carrier. Automobile, food-grade, medical or packing plastics are pre-sorted by the customer.

  • 1. Shredding – regrinding – dedusting

    The production rejects are deposited on a conveyor linked to a shredding machine which reduces the size of the plastic objects one initial time.
    A second conveyor with a powerful magnet which retrieves the metal parts carries the shredded plastic to a crusher. We then get plastic in flakes of various sizes depending on the requested sizing.
    Dust residue is then removed from the latter.

  • 2. Homogenisation

    Homogenization is an important stage in the plastic recycling process because it allows the needs of the industry to be better met. Thanks to this process it is therefore possible to obtain “ready-to-use” materials with a choice of specific composition (mixture of various plastics), a predefined grade (viscosity of the material) and a homogeneous color.

  • 3. Granulating

    At the end of the chain, the flakes obtained undergo an extrusion process to obtain granules. They are then stored in large traceable bags called big bags.

  • 4. Sale of Secondary Raw Materials (SRM)

    After treatment, verification and conditioning, the secondary raw materials obtained are marketed either to industrial firms in need, or reintroduced in the production line of our current suppliers.
